AN ATTEMPT AT NEW KINDNESS
An exhibition by 36 fine arts students from the Royal Academy of Arts
Friday the 14th of december the exhibition AN ATTEMPT AT NEW KINDNESS will open it’s doors at the Vrije Academie | GEMAK. This exhibition is organized by 36 graduating students from the fine arts department of the Royal Academy in The Hague. Guided by curator / artist Ad de Jong they will present their works.
An important aspect of the exhibition is that it focusses on the open nature of art and the visual experience. In addition to this, an extensive lecture program on the subject of Alternative media / Alternative places discusses the future of ‘do-it-yourself’ initiatives like curated blogs and the production of magazines.
AN ATTEMPT AT NEW KINDNESS opens at 19:00 at GEMAK and proceeds with a special party at ‘Het Feest van Sinterklaas’. The exhibition will be on show until wednesday the 19th of december.
