LOCUS Seminar
In conjunction with the exhibition LOCUS: Upcoming Iranian Artists Abroad, GEMAK has organized a seminar focusing on the exhibition themes.
With contributions by cultural exchange agent Neil van der Linden, and LOCUS artists Pendar Nabipour, Arefeh Riahi, Siamak Anvari, Ehsan Fardjadniya, Amir Tirandaz and Joubin Zargarbashi & Celia Eslamieh Shomal

Lecture by Neil van der Linden: Is the ‘metro’ the only underground in Tehran?
Neil van der Linden is an agent for cultural exchange with North-Africa, Middle-East, Central Asia, Subcontinent, the West, co-founder and editor of the Gulf Art Guide. He is musically present at Lastfm and is on Facebook.

Panel discussion, with audience participation, with LOCUS artists about the Locus/location theme of this exhibition and the way in which the artists envision their future in or outside of Iran.
